About Mouhamad
Early Life & Education
Born in 1986 in Senegal, Mouhamad Rassoul Dieng was brought up alongside his siblings in Guédiawaye, on the outskirts of Dakar. His father taught at the local school, where he instilled in Mouhamad an understanding of the importance of education.
After securing his baccalaureat at Groupe Scolaire Baobab, Mouhamad moved to Russia to study cartography and geoinformatics on a Senegalese government scholarship.
Early Professional Career
In a new country where he did not speak the language, Mouhamad demonstrated the resilience and adaptability that would come to define his future success. He began his career with 1xBET in Russia shortly after completing his studies, and was quickly dispatched to Senegal to launch operations in Africa.
Within a year, Mouhamad had secured an operating licence in Senegal and online betting had arrived in the country. After launching in Senegal, Mouhamad led expansion into Mali, Guinea, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, and Angola.
Diversification & MIR Holdings
Based on his success, Mouhamad invested in ventures across Senegal and Africa with one guiding principle: “What do the people of this country actually need?”
Seeing that construction, housing, reliable logistics, and agricultural expansion were all in demand, Mouhamad invested in businesses that could meet those needs. Today, he holds investments in Sayuz Construction, Sayuz Immo, On-Track, Digiprint, and MD Global via MIR Holdings.
In Dubai, he also founded real-estate company Majestic Living Properties, interior fitters JC Maclean, luxury transfer service Moustev Limousine, and luxury retailer Billionaire’s Boutique.
Advisory and New Ventures
Today, Mouhamad is based in the UAE and his success in launching these ventures has positioned him as a strategic adviser to several African governments, who recognise him for his expertise in infrastructure, housing, and development.
